I exclusivly use Sculpey Premo...I order from Dick's, he seems to have the best prices.
I also order by the pound. All of my work is done in full color. I never paint anything, I do this because my work comes out so much more detailed. True, it's very difficult to do it that way, but it seems to keep me more into it. Sculpey Premo has 30 or 40 colors that I can "bridge." (or mix) I use the term "bridge" because that's what you need to do to keep the colors graduated and you dont have any color change lines
I can get at least 4000 different shades. You'll have to prectice, because it takes a long tme to finish a piece. I exclusively use Sculpey Premo. There are many ways to use it, but I mostly just experiment with it until I feel comfortable with the mixing of cololrs I need to use on my projects.It takes a while to learn what you my want, but it is worth the trouble.You can mix any color with any other. I can use the few colors Sculpey makes (about 30) into more than 4000 shades. Good luck and see what you can do. Let me know if you need any help, I'm always here. jss (call me jack)
